Random thoughts VI

Asuka looked at the scene; she was very excited because every year the Six Stars club gave a representation on the entrance ceremony to welcome all the new students. The Six Stars club was three pairs of twins: Kira and Kaya Nishimojin the vocalists, Ryū and Ryō Yamato who were keyboards and electric guitar, Myu and Aya Koki, at the battery and second guitarist. They were popular idols all around since grade school.

They formed the Six Stars club back then and even if they were talented idols, they were good sportive who would be able to do anything they wished to do… She admired them since very long ago. Looking at her practice wand, she decided to dance in their next song "Because the night" from "Cascada"… Taking also all sorts of instruments, she put them on the ground at place where the Six Stars wouldn't be.

At first the singer invited the other party to come and join him to make love… so her dance was naturally very sexy using the two large piece of cloth in her wand to so some kind of hide and seek. She put some acrobatics for the refrain… the dance would be even better with aerials but right now there wasn't anything she could use for something like this so she had to do with the large scene.

- For someone with absolutely no preparation you're awesome girl.
- Eh? I was sure nobody should have come for around two more hours.
- We always come early to check the place and put on some materials long before.
- How did you think of such choreography?
- Well, I think it's because my soul thinks without me… I just have to thinks about it.
- It's nice.
- Not half of what it could be with aerial dancing… too bad for me but there's nothing I can do about this.
- If we asked to give you the material you need, would you show us aerial acrobatics on the lyrics?
- Hum, I guess I could…
- Then it's decided, Ryū make the call.
- It's already dialed.

About half an hour after, five poles, a trapeze and two aerial rings as well as the usual security (but near invisible) elements were fixed. Kira arranged a tape of a review of their next concert so she could show them what "her soul was willing to do". She had put on a tights and a leotard so she could move freely. As soon as the song started, she headed toward an imaginary man who was inviting her by jumping from the ground to the first, second and then third rope. Once she could feel the third rope under her feet, she made a moon jump and was in that man's arms on the first hoop.

Now she was a bit heated up and it was like a real festival of joyful love manifestation. The man was fierce and good so she just had to follow him from an instrument to another. She was a bit hesitant, but it was night so they were free and all alone, just like she was up there… However, the night belonged to them so they could do anything they wished… Halas, as the moon was going down, they were slowing down to tenderness and then… they had to separates. Looking at the man on the first hoop, she went down the third, then second and with a somersault, she landed a last look behind to her lover filled with love on the ground.

The next song was "Shangri-la" from "Angela". The song was like pushing forward, restless, like her live would end if she looked back… she was chasing something but this thing would never be on her reach, so she had to make it look like this… Her expression was really nostalgic, she was chasing her happiness who was both always behind her and forever lost. She had tears but she restlessly jumped from the first, to second, then third rope. As soon as landed on the first hoop, she jumped to the first trapeze, went to the third rope, joined to the second hoop with the bouncing strength after what she jumped to the aerial cloth. Playing a kind of hide-and-seek at high speed in the mid air, she made it look like she could fall any second so the six guys were holding their breath the whole time. When she finally reached the end of the song, she got to the first rope and then landed on the "soft part" she asked for on the back looking upside a hand raised with tears… her hand never reached back her own past.

The third song was also a fast-paced song… "Get along" from "Ayumi Hayashibara" First of all, the cloths show a "strong wind" that goes against me as soon as I join the third rope. However I "cast a spell" with my hand I liberate a sphere of light and the cloths become quiet. There I fight some bad guys with jumps and figures of pushing peoples. I show a clear superior and prideful face because I am the winner no matter how hard they can resist. Something appears upside me, I want it so I go and take it… then another thing on the opposite side, I let go of what I just have and go get it. Someone stands on my way I badly cast a powerful spell on him and look with a devil glare at him falling down while I'm happily jumping around. Life is fun… I see some people, I make a sign to "get along" and then someone appears and tries to beat me but I avoid him and make a sign "try again"!

The last song is "No limits" from "2unlimited" This time I just jump randomly from one rope to another, making it like I fly freely in the sky. The series of "no" and "there's no limit" arrives so I just make signs that I'll do ever-harder things. After that the little part is where the song says that there's no limit for reach for the sky… So I make it to the false sky using the trapeze to send me flying each time I am going a bit more down… there is some ropes there too so I fly from one another making figures like I am flying with wings. This single song is just a way to content my heart with the jumps… and since it's the last, I play a little prank to my audience… I look like falling from the highest rope to the ground but at the very last second I take on the aerials cloths and land perfectly finely on my two feet with a grin and a kiss to the audience.

The Six's hearts had like stopped sure she had made some mistake and didn't had the time to activate the security… so when she landed they really where shocked at how bold and cool she was. Kira decided that she would be part of the spectacle on the entrance day… they had the two holiday's week to make it a good spectacle. She was to come every day… she looked really surprised but didn't said anything except that the very first day would be a no-go she had family things to attends that couldn't be undid two days before the due date. Kira noticed that she didn't even reacted to his authority and made her statement like he had no right to speak back. Since she was already heading to the changing room he couldn't add anything… when she got out they were already on scene so he couldn't speak back either… after it was too late.

Kaya was totally in awe, she had her own pace settled with Kira when nobody else than the other six would ever dare speak back. The staff of the school was completely under his command and nobody never dared speak to him like it was normal, with not much honorifics… the "Nishimojin-sama" that everyone was always giving them, she merely took it to a "Nishi-kun"… He didn't answered back to that either so Kaya wondered if Kira needed her so much on the show that he would put up with her like this for long.
On a whim, Kira decided to try to sing while using the equipment upside them… It was sudden so the staff got all worried. He missed the high-up jump that led to the first rope because landing on the rope was very difficult. Kaya and the other tried but couldn't either… they wondered how Asuka was doing it so they phoned her and asked her directly. She said she would come an hour later and shows them then hung up since she was busy.

Kira looked almost stunned at the phone. It was a first time, from a girl to boot, that someone hung up on him. Somehow, it was like not real. The way she would just do whatever she would, the way she would and put Kira off balance… When she arrived, she throws each of them shoes and went on the stage doing some warm up. They put the shoes on and she said "look at my feet". Without adding any words, she made some jumps from one rope to another….

She showed them a few times and when she saw they weren't making any progress, she took a non-removable ink pen and traced a line in the sole of their shoes. She said that if they landed on that mark they would make it to the second rope. She was impatient and pushed them a lot of time but she gave them one advice more each time… until they effectively finally reached the second rope. They also made it to the third, the problem came after… They couldn't thinks of any really good pose once up in the airs…

- Why do you fly? Asked Asuka.
- Heh?
- I mean, what is waiting for you in the empty space ahead?
- You lost me, said Kaya… Can you answer you own question?
- Of course. In the first song, up there is the one who invite me to join in… the embodiment of love that the public want to see… whoever he is. In the second song, there's cakes, bad guys to beat up, the space that will be filled with the people I'll invite to join. In the third song I go for the glory. Alternatively, I search for whatever can push far away things known as bounds.
- Do you mean we would have better imagination if we had this?
- I mean you can't fly forever so you have to fly to reach something or someone so you can set your mind to never fall until you're done.
- I see…
- You have the basics. I am going home now. See you in three days.

A last look at the settings and she said that the height had to be readjusted to the highest person of the group and not the smallest. Then she left on a small goodbye that felt like fainting in the air. Kira was looking in her direction even after he had left so Kaya openly asked him what was wrong with him.

- That girl… I can't reply her back… I don't feel at all annoyed like I would with anyone else. Even when she hung up to me, I couldn't get mad at her at all.
- I don't think she's the type to be a number in a long list through.
- It would be nice if she was unlike the other girls but I feel like I can have fun out of her.
- You're a devil, I thinks I pity her…
